Problems of Practice courses offer the opportunity to pursue the solution to a specific problem, address a community need, or organize a cultural event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Problems of Practice (PoP) are issues of consequence impacting a community, profession, or discipline. Examining a problem of practice involves active learning, such as project-based learning, community-engaged experiential learning, and ongoing reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through Problems of Practice courses, students will collaborate with alumni and experts at local and global organizations \u2014 from theatre groups, historical societies, and media outlets to government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and NGOs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Problems of Practice courses call on students and faculty to explore uncertainty and engage in contexts where there isn\u2019t a predefined answer. As you do, you\u2019ll build specialized knowledge, marketable skills, and a network of professional contacts that will benefit you long into the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
