Mengliu Lu

Assistant Teaching Professor, Becker School of Design/Tech

Mengliu Lu is a 3D artist whose work focuses on game art, CGI production, and real-time 3D pipelines. Her work focuses on character and environment art, real-time 3D pipelines, VR/XR experiences, and the intersection of digital media, storytelling, and interactive design. She has experience creating 3D assets, animations, visual effects, and immersive experiences for games, cinematics, and interdisciplinary projects.

Her teaching emphasizes both artistic development and production-ready technical skills, helping students build strong creative portfolios and understand the full pipeline from concept to implementation.

Her professional experience includes work as a 3D artist and animator for games and CGI productions. She earned her MFA in Interactive Media from Clark University and her bachelor’s in Interactive Media design from Becker College.
