Dr. Tsaneva received a B.A. from Colby College in 2007 and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2015. She has been at Clark since 2015.
Dr. Tsaneva is an applied microeconomist with a focus on development economics. Her research examines how various government policies, shocks, and environmetal conditions impact physical and mental health, child education, and women’s well-being. She teaches courses on development economics, policy evaluation, principles of macroeconomics, and statistics.
